Select By Circle

 There will be cases where the other backscatter selectors cannot find backscatter that you see in your photo.  The Select Circle Button allows you to pick these areas of your photo for processing.  To do this, select 3 Points on the photo that are slightly outside the edge of the backscatter area.  You will be shown a red circle indicating the selected area.  Then you can process this area of the photo removing the changes in color and brightness of this area.

  • The reason the backscatter selector cannot find this backscatter is typically because there are brighter areas of the image that connect the backscatter you see to rest of the image.  Sort of like a balloon on a bright string…
  • This command can also be used to select backscatter that are partially outside the photo area.
